Using an exsisting tattoo as proof instead of ID?

I’m seventeen years ancient , and I already have one tattoo on my stomach, a shooting star point which I like . I want to get another one within the next two weeks of a hummingbird on my shoulderblade in memory of my grandmother because its coming up to her second death anniversary. I know for a fact I look well over eighteen, some people even tell me I look about twenty (Not being huge headed). I was wondering if I had my current tattoo on show and looking as ancient as I do would work instead of ID? I have a fake ID but I don’t want to use it to get tattooed. I got my first tattoo on a holiday & they didn’t question for ID. Please don’t tell me not to get this done and please don’t lecture me, I like tattoos and they mean a lot to me. I have thought this out wisely .
I got the tattoo, its fantastic and I paid excellent money. Meredith was the only person who gave me the slightest bit of help, so no thanks.

It’s tough to answer your question because there’s no specific guidelines in tattoo salons about asking for ID unless you are obviously underaged. I would go out there and talk to some tattoo artists, show them the point and see what they reckon of you. Excellent luck.
